Former WWE Superstar Becky Lynch recently shared insights into Ronda Rousey's journey in the WWE, shedding light on the challenges and experiences faced by the former UFC star during her time in the wrestling industry.

In a recent interview on The MMA Hour, Lynch discussed Rousey's rapid rise in the WWE and the difficulties she encountered due to her background in MMA.

Lynch expressed her admiration for the WWE but acknowledged the complexities of working in such a dynamic environment. She emphasized her dedication to improving the wrestling division while reflecting on the creative aspects of the entertainment giant.

Speaking about Rousey, Lynch highlighted the initial excitement surrounding Rousey's debut and her impressive performance alongside wrestling legends like Kurt Angle and Triple H. However, Lynch noted that the expectation for Rousey to excel immediately might have been unrealistic, given the nuances and craftsmanship required in professional wrestling.

"Because when she first came in, she was good in that first bout, but she was also working with Kurt Angle, she was working with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon," Lynch stated. "It was a well-rehearsed match because everybody wanted her to succeed. And then it was, 'OK, she can do this, off to the races,' and that was mishandling her because she was a star in her own right."

Lynch's comments shed light on the complexities of transitioning from one combat sport to another, highlighting the challenges faced by athletes entering the world of professional wrestling.

The discussion also touched upon recent controversies in the WWE, including allegations against former WWE boss Vince McMahon. Lynch expressed her concerns about the allegations while maintaining her respect for McMahon and his contributions to the wrestling industry.

As Rousey prepares to share more about her WWE experience in her upcoming memoir, Lynch's insights provide a valuable perspective on the realities of navigating the world of sports entertainment.
