In a highly anticipated showdown, O’Malley will defend his title against Vera, the only fighter to have handed him a loss in the Octagon.

The commentary team for UFC 299 is stacked with talent, featuring Jon Anik leading the cageside commentary alongside color commentary legend Joe Rogan, who is making his first appearance in 2024, and former UFC two-division champion Daniel Cormier.

Adding to the broadcast, retired featherweight fighter Din Thomas will join as a coach-analyst, offering expert insights throughout the event.

The event will also feature the iconic Bruce Buffer handling fighter walkouts, with UFC reporter Megan Olivi covering pre- and post-fight interviews and providing real-time updates from backstage.

Following the fights, the post-fight show will feature retired UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen and light heavyweight contender Anthony Smith as desk analysts. Boxing legend Teddy Atlas will also be on hand to provide his expert analysis.
