Merab Dvalishvili Secures Unanimous Decision Victory over Henry Cejudo

Merab Dvalishvili added another remarkable achievement to his impressive resume with a unanimous decision win over former champion Henry Cejudo on the main card of UFC 298 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Despite a strong start from Cejudo, who landed a solid left hook in the first round, Dvalishvili recovered and showcased his wrestling prowess, taking top position early in the fight.

The momentum shifted in the second round, with Dvalishvili landing a significant right hand and executing a takedown on Cejudo. He even attempted a deep guillotine choke, showcasing his dominance. In the third round, Dvalishvili continued to impress, carrying Cejudo across the cage and dumping him to the mat.

The win extends Dvalishvili's win streak to 10 fights, including victories over big names like Jose Aldo, Marlon Moraes, and Petr Yan. Dvalishvili has made it clear that he is focused on a title shot next, stating,

"After this, that's it. Title fight is next. I'm not going to look at any other bulls— fights. I'm just going to take what is mine. I deserve it."

While Dvalishvili looks ahead to a potential title opportunity, this loss may mark the end of the road for Cejudo, who has had an illustrious career in MMA.
