Dana White Stands Up to a UFC Sponsor Who Tried to Silence Him

Dana White is the president and CEO of the UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. He is known for his outspoken and controversial personality, as well as his friendship with former president Donald Trump. He is also not afraid to stand up to anyone who tries to tell him what to do or say, even if they are a major UFC sponsor.

In a recent podcast with comedian Theo Von, White revealed that he posted a video on his personal social media supporting Trump, who he has known for many years and who he spoke for at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

However, one of the UFC’s big sponsors did not like his political stance and asked him to take down the video. White’s response was simple and blunt:

“Go f*** yourself.”

“You vote for whoever you want to vote for and I’ll vote for whoever I want to vote for. That’s how this works. I don’t even care who you’re voting for. It’s none of my f****** business. F*** you. Don’t ever f****** call me and tell me who to vote for.”

White also said that this applies to any sponsor that works with the UFC and the content that the UFC produces. He said that he is at a point in his life and career where he wants to work with people that he is aligned with, and that it is not just about the money. He said that he will not accept a bigger offer from a sponsor if he does not agree with their values and vision. He said that he looks deep into who the sponsors are and who is running them, and that he wants to be aligned with them.

White also defended the UFC’s decision to sign a multi-year sponsorship deal with Bud Light, which will start in 2024. He said that he is proud of the deal and that he thinks Bud Light is a great partner for the UFC.
