- Recent Golden Gloves Champs Who Could Beat Up Jake Paul
This month is coming to a close but we got some really good fights in and the return of Golden Gloves! Covid swept it away from us and many aspiring fighters last year so the energy of Golden Gloves 2021 really hits hard. While fighters like Jake Paul are the leading stories the past few months, let's not overlook the people grinding their way up the ladder the traditional way. The 125 pound national champ hails from Fort Worth. German Lopez is only 19 years old and overcame a Covid infection and a 70 MPH car accident to pursue his love of boxing this year. He plans to go pro and considering everything this dude has done to pursue his love of boxing, we just might be seeing him winnings Olympic medals and claiming world titles one day. J'khory Gibson out of Texas won the 201 pound heavyweight national golden gloves title. He's got an amateur boxing record of 6-1 with all the skills to start eyeing a professional boxing bout. 6 of his last 7 fights have been this year alone. Maybe he could take note of Jake Paul and start calling out pro MMA fighters to come test his hands. Then there's Skylar Lacy out of Indiana. The dude is an absolute monster of a super heavyweight and has an amateur boxing record all from this year at 9-1. He actually started fighting in march per that record. Looks like he's won Indiana state Golden Gloves titles since back in 2018 that aren't included in his current listed amateur record. I think this guy could take Jake Paul. There were a bunch of other Golden Gloves Champions this year that we think you should hear about! You'll hear their names soon on more articles from us and as they get those Olympic medals and world titles! Follow us at Fight.TV
- Dana White Mocks Jake Paul
Dana White responded to Jake Paul's comments about "knocking out" the UFC President if they were to ever meet in public as Jake put. "It actually makes sense. Iâm 52 years old. Iâm in the age bracket of guys he fights, so yeah, I could see him wanting to fight me. Itâs all he fights are 50-year-olds." "Get in line. There are plenty of people who would like to assault me. Get in line. Itâs a long f***ing line, buddy. Youâre going to be waiting for a while. No, it doesnât bother me. This is the business weâre in. I say it all the time about the fighters, too. We are not in the nice guy business. This is a very mean business. I say many mean things about people, too. Itâs just part of this game. Itâs all good.â Jake Paul has relentlessly hounded Dana White on fighter pay and Dana White has stayed critical on Jake Paul about his choice of opponents. It makes me unsure of which side to take because they both make valid points about the other. I would definitely pay to watch them have a slap battle though. What say you fight fans? Are you team White or team Paul? Who do you think would win in a slap battle? We at Fight.TV want to know!
- Jake Paul Beats Tyron Woodley By Split Decision
Jake Paul beat Tryon Woodley via split decision with the cards reading (77-75, 75-77, 78-74) You can tell fight fans really wanted to see get Jake Paul knocked out in this one. Because the sports writers kept talking about how Woodley wouldn't chase Paul or pursue him while he rested on the ropes. This wasn't a close fight y'all. Jake outscored Tyron fairly well, and Tyron only bested Jake in 2 out of 8 whole rounds. It's nice to see that Jake actually had to put up a fight against someone so far, but he definitely fought a high caliber striker tonight, and won. They met at 190, and this gives less room for haters to say Jake Paul isn't really a fighter. I have my own opinions about Jake Paul but tonight, he's the victor and we should give it to him. If you have any discourse for Jake keep in mind he's got to challenge himself further. His next opponent could be a real boxer like Tommy Fury. The rest of his "hit list" is questionable but Tommy Fury would definitley be a fight that if Jake were to win would solidify him as a respectable boxer. What do you think? Who should Jake fight next? Was the fight we all saw tonight worth your PPV dollars? Fight.TV wants to know!

Fight.TV wants to know what was the fight that got you hooked on MMA? Please share and comment wherever you see this, including what your top MMA fight of all time is! We scouted the MMA sub-reddit R/MMA and found a lot of really great calls here. "New Zealander here. My old boss was a big fan and brought out the TV so we could watch Izzy vs Costa at work on PPV one afternoon. Been hooked ever since." "What was your 1st fight again?? VHS was how we made sure to catch each episode of the original Ultimate Fighter reality TV show...I've read and heard in interviews THAT is what saved UFC from actually going out of business and I don't know how old you are but that Forrest Griffin vs Stephen Bonner fight was on regular TV... part way into the 1st round people were calling all over telling three friends "QUICK, put in this channel!!!" I'm not sure HOW but it seems the total viewership by the end of round 3 was wayyyyyy more then when that fight started... ONLY time I have EVER seen 2 people pound each other START TO FINISH almost NON stop... maybe a Rocky movie lol đ" "mcgregor vs nate 2. Never seen a man punch so accurate and hard. Never seen a man taking such punches and still going hard. Fan of both now." "I been watching since Rampage vs Chuck, but I was kinda losing interest around that time because all my favorites were retiring, and I hated Conor. But man, I must have watched that fight around 20 times since it was just insane like it had the slow burn of a boxing match almost. Got me back into being excited about fighting I remember talking about how great the trilogy will be and we all know how thatâs turned out, at least so far." "Anderson Silva v. Forrest Griffin I loved the quotes from Forrest in interviews a fair while after the event: Interviewer: Let's look back at your last fight against Silva at UFC 101. Ultimately, what do you think went wrong out there? Forrest: "I don't know. I'm going to guess everything. You know where I made my biggest mistake was saying I would fight that guy. That's definitely the first mistake I made and the biggest. Because that sh*t was a year ago and literally every day people ask me something about that - What happened? What happened?" "[Anderson punched me in the chin] Repeatedly and I was very confused. I tried to punch him and he literally moved his head out of the way and looked at me like I was stupid for doing it. He looked at me like - "Why would you do such a stupid thing?" He looked at me like - "Oh, did you really think you were going to hit me? What a stupid thing to think, you slow slow white boy." Then he punched me. I felt embarrassed for even trying to punch him. I felt like some kid trying to wrestle his dad."
