Brener stuns Kruschewsky with walkoff KO at UFC Sao Paulo

Elves Brener seized his opportunity to shine on the main card after he knocked out Kaynan Kruschewsky with a devastating left hand at UFC Sao Paulo on Saturday.

Brener and Kruschewsky got the chance to open the main card after the fight between Rodolfo Vieira and Armen Petrosyan was scrapped. Brener did not disappoint as he landed a perfect left hook behind Kruschewsky’s ear that sent him crashing to the mat.

Kruschewsky was unconscious before he touched the ground and the referee quickly stopped the fight at 4:01 in the first round.

Brener celebrated his impressive victory and called out UFC president Dana White.

“This is my home, I always wanted to fight here,” Brener said after the win. “I’m ready for anyone, Dana. Give me a top 15 opponent.”

The fight was expected to be a thrilling clash between two Brazilian sluggers who were throwing heavy punches at each other. It seemed like a matter of time before one of them would land a knockout blow.

The decisive moment came when Brener dodged a punch from Kruschewsky and countered with a massive right hand. Then he followed up with the left hand that ended the fight in an instant.

The win improves Brener’s record to 3-0 in the UFC and 16-3 overall as he keeps making a name for himself in the octagon.
