Damian Lescaille New WBA Continental Champion

Today in Orlando Florida, the undefeated Cuban Damian Lescaille was crowned as the new WBA Welterweight Continental Champion by defeating Hugo Noriega, also Cuban, by unanimous decision.

This is the first title for Lescaille who, as an Amateur boxer, participated in a junior world championship.

Noriega was left with the desire to obtain his second title, some time before he was the WBA Fedecaribe champion.
