Teofimo Lopez wins as expected by KO in the 7th round. Campa put on a competitive fight till Teofimo got confident and put him down and then out in the 7th round. Now watching the fight closely Im not excited and Im not getting on the Teofimo bandwagon and say yay!!! He's back!!! My opinión is that he isnt back yet. He looked too tentative not what we are used to. Maybe after a fight or two he may comeback but not yet. It was a long lay off and we have to take that into concideration. Maybe he may have enough to fight a Ryan Garcia or softer opposition but if you put him against a Pitbull Cruz , Devin Haney or Tank Davis I believe Teofimo will have a bad night. People who know the business know Campa was a tune up fight so he can come back and get the win and get in rythem nothing more. Now you know Teofimo and his father will always talk crap to help sell a fight but we know he isnt back just yet. I just hope with this win he doesnt lose sense of reality and take his next fight lightly. We want to see good fights and he is one of the top dawgs of the división but isnt ready for the rest of the other top dawgs just yet.

As expected young prospect Xander Zayas knocksout tuff mexican slugger Espadas in 5 rounds. Espadas tried to put up a fight but fell short and out in the fifth round. Zayas was just too much for Espadas to handle. Too strong, too big, lets get this guy some top notch competition because I believe he has the goods.

The great Salvador Sanchez was born January 26th, 1959 in a town called Santiago Tianguistenco, México. With very few amateur fights he turned pro at the young age of 16 taking on much more experienced boxers. In only his 19th fight he fought for the Mexican National title, he lost by points that night, that was his only loss in the ring. From then on he went on a winning spree beating all the greats of the time like Trinidad Sr, Danny "Little Red" Lopez for the world championship that he would never lose in the ring. He was immortalized when he beat another great Wilfedo Gomez. Gomez was a terror at the time beating everybody until he fought Sanchez. Sanchez took him to school that night and winning by KO. He also gave african great Azumah Nelson his first loss in a fight that was a war. Sanchez died shortly after in a car accident. He died on the highway between Querétaro and San Luis Potosí, he was driving a Porsche 928 and died on the spot. He was only 23 years old. Its been 40 years since he died and people still ask themselves what if he would of not died? Would of Azumah Nelson reigned the featherweights? If he fought Alexis Arguello what then? Also would Julio César Chavez made it that long without a loss if they would of fought? All those questions sadly will go without an answer. We will never know.

Sean O’Malley is one of the brightest prospects coming out from Dana White’s contender series. He is a kind of personality-driven superstars like McGregor and Nate Diaz in the UFC. Sean O’Malley has been pushed hard by the promotion due to his outspoken nature and charismatic personality. He has the potential to back his trash talk up inside the Octagon and believes in his hype. He is a man of self-belief which has made him a must-see fighter. O’Malley has been heavily criticized by the fans for not competing with ranked fighters. He remained unranked at bantamweight, and that’s large because he had yet to fight anyone who’s in the official UFC rankings. He was known as an ‘’unranked champion’’ before he was ranked #13 after his win against Raulian Paiva at UFC 269. His last fight was Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276 earlier this month. It was ruled out as a no contest after an accidental eye poke rendered Munhoz unable to continue in round 2. Despite a no-contest, still his rank improved from #13 to #12. O’Malley is currently 15-1-1 in MMA with his only loss coming against Marlon Vera via TKO in the very first round but Suga doesn’t count it as a loss because he suffered an ankle injury during the fight. It was the first time he was fighting a ranked fighter, but it put a dent in his winning streak. Aside from that, it’s been mostly a smooth run for O’Malley. O’Malley indicated the reason behind the unranked fights is that he makes the same amount of money per fight, regardless of who’s in the cage with him. O’Malley’s kept on building his name by beating unranked fighters until his contract is up – or until the UFC is ready to talk about a new deal. Fans won’t want to hear this, but it’s smart for O’Malley to do things his way and at least try to grab what little leverage he can by putting himself in the best position to succeed. The Suga Show is finally getting a major step up in competition which might put him one step away from UFC gold. UFC has announced that the former bantamweight champion Petr Yan will be facing O’Malley at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi. It will be a huge challenge for Suga to fight against one of the best fighters in the UFC. Yan is currently at #13 in the pound-for-pound rankings. He is coming off a split decision loss to bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling in a title unification bout at UFC 273. "I'm getting the fight that I wanted and the fight that the people want," O'Malley said on ESPN DC & RC. "In my eyes, Petr is the No. 1 contender right now. He's pretty much 1-1 against Aljo ... he could be considered the champion. ... Going in there and stepping up against a guy like Petr is exciting, it's motivating and it's the biggest fight in the bantamweight division right now." He has even set his eyes on the UFC gold. 'Sugar' recently appeared on the Believe You Me podcast alongside host Michael Bisping. 'The Count' suggested that if O'Malley beats Yan, he doesn't see the winner of Vera vs. Cruz getting a title shot ahead of him and the #13 Bantamweight contender agreed to Bisping’s comment. "I f***ing beat Petr, I am gonna be the champ. I'm gonna fight for the belt. That's what everyone wants. The UFC needs a champion like me. So, you're 100 percent right. I go out there, starch Petr, he face plants October 22 in Abu Dhabi in a massive card — you're pretty accurate in saying I'd probably get the title shot. Especially with Aljo and TJ being on that card." Petr Yan was the only fighter available in the division who was without the fight and O’Malley wanted to have another run before the end of the year, so he was successful in calling out the best fighter. O’Malley has fought most of his professional career on his home soil. It will be for the first time he will be fighting in Abu Dhabi, and it comes with the challenges like time switches and travel. It will be a completely different scenario from the usual. Nobody would have thought about this match-up so early in O’Malley’s career. That situation happened with the UFC President when matchmaker Sean Shelby proposed the O’Malley-Yan fight for Oct. 22, He had to pitch it to White, who wasn’t immediately sold. The UFC president initially thought it was too soon for “The Suga Show.” “We were in matchmaking and Sean Shelby actually came up with that fight,” said White at post-fight press conference for Tuesday’s Contender Series event. “Sean Shelby wanted that fight. I said, ‘Are you out of your mind? You don’t make that fight now. This and that.’ He told me why he’d make it and O’Malley’s ready. You know, O’Malley’s about to be 28 years old in October, in his absolute prime right now, hits like a truck. “He ended up selling me on it. And more importantly, both guys wanted it. And even more important than that, when we announced it, everybody went crazy and loves it. And even more important than that, it should be fucking a really good fight.” It will be a breakthrough in his career if O’Malley manages to upset the Russian. The match will not be less than the main event as all eyes will be on the underdog ‘’The Suga Show’’. Petr Yan will be looking to rebound from the hard-fought battle loss against Aljamain Sterling. Yan will look like a fool if he under-estimated O’Malley. He won't leave a stone unturned to protect his glory while O’Malley continues to thrive. O’Malley’s approach might be the wrong one. A heavy defeat against Yan in such a young career might shatter his confidence. But O’Malley thinks it's best for him so that he could test his skills against a former champ.

Floyd Mayweather slammed by buddy Adrien Broner for not agreeing to a 200 million dollar exhibition bout. Broner is mad Floyd declined the offer and is fighting MMA star Mikuru Asakura instead in september. Broner said in an interview he would of split the 200 million in half with Floyd and that way both would never have to fight again. He also said that maybe Floyd is afraid to lose against him. Im sure this chapter isnt over just yet. Mayweather has made over 100 million per fight before, once with Manny Pacquiao and later with Conner Mcgregor. So he is not new to those purses, this goes to proove that Floyd "Money" Mayweather is still PPV king and is still on everyone's wish list to have a good payday.

Tomorrow night we will see if Teofimo Lopez is back. Many are curious to see if he is the same great fighter he once was. Will he look good against Campa? Will he look good in this heavier weight división? Heavier weight means bigger and stronger punchers. Campa is no slouch with a record of (34-1-1) that makes him a worthy but dangerous opponent. Dangerous more for the fact that he has nothing to lose and is going for the upset. Campa said to have had over a 3 month camp for this fight, so he is ready to go. Will we see the great Teofimo back or will we see him lose and make up excuses like last time.

She is a real student of the game and likes to analize fight etc. She is now enjoying the fruits of her labor but is far from finished.

Former unified cruiserweight world champion and now heavyweight unified world champion is just needing the WBC belt to be the undisputed king of the división. There has been pictures of Oleksandr Usyk training and he looks huge, he said in an interview that he bulked up 33lbs of muscle mass for this rematch. He even said to not be surprised if he is heavier than A.J in the day of fight. Many are amazed by his new body transformation because he is looking bigger and stronger, but is that benificial? In my personal opinión it isnt all that good for a fighter to be at his heaviest for a fight. It may help with power but not in the footwork and aguility department. Heavyweight fighters are usually strong but slow movers. Thats what makes Usyk so great , he is fast and fights in angles and is on his toes the whole fight. I hope Im wrong but with the extra 33lbs Im afraid that will slow him down. Maybe his stratagy is to go toe to toe with A.J and again i dont think thats a good idea. Anthony Joshua is known for his KO power and is a great finisher. On the other hand Usyk is not blessed with that power but has great skill and ring IQ. Dont get me wrong , Im a Usyk fan but this and the problems back home may affect his performance. I hope he proves me wrong and can hang toe to toe with A.J , but it will be dangerous because A.J wants his belts back.

July 10th, 2021, T Mobile Arena, Las Vegas Nevada, the night which every UFC fan waited patiently for Notorious’ return to the Octagon on the US soil after defeating Donald Cowboy Cerrone. Conor McGregor faced Dustin Poirier in the trilogy bout having lost to him earlier in 2021. However, the return did not go as the Irish superstar had planned. In the dying seconds of the first round, Conor McGregor suffered a horrible injury, and the fight was called off. After the fight, Conor was frustrated and gave one of the most controversial post-fight speeches in UFC’s history. Since then, many fighters have called out Conor McGregor to fight them and it remains to be seen who the Irishman will face when he makes that walk to the Octagon again. The fights which make sense for Conor McGregor to be a part of are discussed below 5- Dan Hooker With one win in his last five bouts including a bad beating against Arnold Allen in his return to Featherweight, Dan Hooker might just be the fight Conor McGregor needs to regain his lost confidence back if he sees his future in the Lightweight division. 4- Tony Ferguson A match that should have happened years ago when Tony Ferguson won the Interim title belt against Kevin Lee. Fast forward five years El Cucuy is on the worst streak of his career, losing four in his last four including a brutal knockout against Michael Chandler at UFC 274. Tony vs Conor will be a huge match if somehow both can agree to fight. There might even be a chance this bout happens at 170lbs. 3- Kamaru Usman The Nigerian Nightmare is still recovering from his hand surgery and is scheduled to face Leon Edwards in the coming month according to Dana White. However, McGregor made his intentions clear of fighting for the Welterweight belt and acquiring gold in three different weight classes. He labeled Kamaru Usman’s submission as ‘danger free’ while calling him a slow orthodox wrestler. But after seeing what Usman did to a great striker like Masvidal it would be better for McGregor to consider other options. 2- Charles Oliveira After submitting Justin Gaethje at UFC 274 Oliveira called out Conor McGregor in his post-fight speech. He later admitted in the post-fight conference that a fight with Conor will give his family financial freedom. It is safe to say that Do Bronx is looking for a ‘red panties night’ with Conor McGregor. However, things could be interesting as Oliveira has been hurt in his previous three fights and faced adversity. This could be intriguing for Conor as his previous performances have been below par, but he still has that pop in his left hand. 1- Jorge Masvidal Conor McGregor vs. Jorge Masvidal could be the biggest fight in UFC's history. McGregor proved he has no fear of stepping in against anyone in the octagon. Being a champion in two different weight classes and willing to compete again in a third, McGregor has proved his point. As for Masvidal, he holds the UFC "Bad Motherf***er" belt, which speaks volumes about the kind of importance he carries. McGregor fought Cerrone in the welterweight division. He has had two other fights at 170 - both against Nate Diaz. The Irishman knows how to compete in a weight class two categories above his original one.

There might be a follow-up to Jiri Prochazka vs. Glover Teixeira. At UFC 275 in June, the fight was an all-time classic between the fighters, and the current UFC light heavyweight champion is prepared for a rematch. It is being reported via various sources that UFC is currently working on a fight between the two. Prochazka vs Teixeira is targeted for December 10th at UFC 282. So far no official venue has been decided yet. This year's pay-per-view card is anticipated to take place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. There haven't been any additional fights scheduled for this event yet. . It has been a fast paced climb up the light heavyweight ladder for the Czech Republic Native since his debut in UFC back in 2020. Prochazka progressed from a newbie to a contender to a champion in just three appearances in the Octagon. In 2020, he made his debut and knocked out Volkan Oezdemir to announce himself at the grandest stages. His impressive debut earned him a shot against two time contender Dominick Reyes, and the two put on a display until Prochazka flattened Reyes with a spinning back elbow in 2021. After two phenomenal displays of dominance Prochazka finally got his shot at the light heavyweight title when he matched up against the veteran Glover Teixeira. Their fight was nothing less than a war and it is also up for the fight of the year contender. Both the fighters took and inflicted damage upon each other while there were scrambles and exchanges on the ground as well. Prochazka managed to win the bout with only 25 seconds left in the fight as he submitted Teixeira to win the UFC Light heavyweight championship. On the other side it hasn’t been an easy path to the title for the 42 year old veteran Glover Teixeira. He was disappointed to lose the belt as he was the better fighter overall during the bout. Teixeira had a commanding lead on two of the three official scorecards going into the final round, capping a noteworthy six-fight winning streak that saw him climb the 205-pound rankings and usurp Jan Blachowicz's reign. The Brazilian defeated fighters like Thiago Santos, Anthony Smith, and Nikita Krylov on his ascent. The 42-year-old former champion boasts an 85% completion rate in his career. It is only fair that Glover has demanded a rematch from Jiri Prochazka which perhaps could be the last fight of Teixeira's career. He wanted to keep on going after losing in June but he has signaled that he may only have 1 or 2 fights left inside him at the maximum. Jiri Prochazka also uploaded a video on his social media last month in which he told everyone that he has decided to give an opportunity to Glover Teixeira for the rematch. He stated “ I made a decision for the next fight ... and I want to fight Glover the next fight. Not because it will be another big fight. But just one reason: my performance was bad the first fight. And I will show you why I'm the champion. Clearly, decisively. And I think Glover deserves it. So here's the offer. I will show you why I'm the champion." Now Prochazka has the opportunity to rectify his mistakes which he made in the first fight and close the chapter of this rivalry once and for all. Before the year ends we will see some great heavyweight action between top contenders. Ofcourse we have the much anticipated A.J v.s Usyk 2 fight but there is also other heavyweight fights on the horizon. We got Ortiz V.S Ruiz and Joyce V.S Parker and the rumor is Tyson Fury wants the A.J V.S Usyk 2 winner before the year ends. So imagine all those fights before the year ends. So imagine all that heavyweight división action and between top contenders. The winners of the Ortiz V.S Ruiz and Joyce V.S Parker can easily go into title contention. Both Ortiz and Ruiz are two ex-champs that have proven themselves time and time again. Joyce V.S Parker is another intresting fight between two top contenders, Parker being the ex WBO Champion and coming off a win over Chisora and Joyce dismantled WBA Champ Daniel Dubouis. They also deserve a shot at the title. It would be intresting to see the A.J v.s Usyk winner fight Fury and also watch the winners of Ortiz v.s Ruiz and Joyce v.s Parker square off before year ends. Ofcourse that depends on the promotors reaching an agreement and giving us fight fans a treet.

With his much anticipated rematch against middleweight great Gennady Golovkin around the corner Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is a hot topic in his country Mexico. The trilogy fight will be on september 17th, but people are already talking about what could be the outcome of the fight. Canelo divids a country, some people are in favor ,some are against him. Some say he waited till Golovkin got old and is also making him go up in weight to fight him where he is the undisputed champ in. People are seeing where Canelo is taking all the advantages in and is putting his conditions for the fight to even take place. Canelo is in control of the fight. I believe the critics are correct but we have to see the other side of the coin, we all know boxing is a business and Canelo is the biggest draw in boxing and is the A side in the negociations. Now nobody is pointing a gun to Golovkins head and making him fight under those conditions. There is millones $$$$$ of reasons why Golovkin is taking the fight and ofcourse he also believes he can win. Now in my personal opinión I believe now is the time Canelo is vulnerable and might be taking Golovkin lightly because of age ect. I still dont think Golovkin can win but he is capable of giving all of us a surprise on september 17th, he has that KO power, but so does Canelo. I understand everything and why, the only thing I dont like is the weight issue. I think it should of been a catchweight fight so the advantage will not be so notorious. What the casual fan doesnt know is that after that weight in Golovkins weight will almost stay the same, on the other hand Canelo will go up 10-15lbs the day of the fight because of rehydration. So he will have a huge size and weight advantage in the fight. They are stratagies and like they say "all is fair in love and war". I know to many its a sport but to us fighters its more than that, we can get killed in a fight. Thats why I dont look at it as a sport, to me its him or me, that simple. That my view ofcourse. To Canelo Álvarez fans he is the man. He is the current undisputed 168lbs world champ and he did it beating all the champions in the división one by one. In my personal opinion this man is extraordinary, he will go down as one of the greats. He has had some close fights but still he has done great things and nobody can say otherwise. The last thing I have to say about Canelo is, like him or not you will see his fights. Cheer for him or not he will be laughing. You know where? In the bank!
